Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of The Walkthrough, an AI conversation-practice app for real estate agents, published by H.L. Delaney ("we," "us"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use The Walkthrough on devices you own or control, for the duration of an active subscription, solely for your own professional practice use. You do not own the app — you have a license to run it under these Terms.

The license is single-user. You may not share your account with other agents.
You may not sublicense, resell, rent, lease, or redistribute the app or your access to it.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or model weights from the app.

Acceptable use

The Walkthrough exists to help you practice real estate conversations professionally. The following uses are not allowed:

Abuse of the practice partner. Don't use the AI personas to generate harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or other content that would be off-limits in any professional context.
Automated drill farming. Don't script, automate, or otherwise programmatically hammer the app to generate output at scale or to extract content for resale.
Out-of-scope use. The app is a real estate practice tool. Don't use it as a substitute for legal advice, mental-health care, or anything else it isn't designed for.
Misrepresentation. Don't pass off AI-generated drill output to clients as your own pre-written disclosures, contracts, or compliance materials.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Payment and subscription

The Walkthrough is sold as a subscription. Pricing is shown in the app at purchase.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Your payment, renewal, and refund relationship is with Apple under their standard subscription terms.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. Apple will charge your account within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
You can cancel anytime in your Apple Account (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
Team and Brokerage plans may be billed directly by H.L. Delaney under a separate written agreement. If you're on one of those plans, that agreement controls billing.

Not professional advice

The Walkthrough is a practice tool, not professional advice. The AI personas, debriefs, and any suggestions surfaced by the app are generated by AI systems and may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date.

The Walkthrough does not provide legal advice, compliance advice, fiduciary advice, fair-housing rulings, contract review, tax guidance, or financial advice.
Real estate is regulated state by state. You are responsible for verifying any state-specific disclosure, advertising, agency, or compliance requirement with your designated broker and your state real estate commission.
Nothing the app outputs is a substitute for your broker's review, your MLS rules, your local board's code of ethics, or the law where you practice.
If a drill surfaces something that sounds like a legal or compliance question, take it to a lawyer or your broker — not the app.

Your content

You retain ownership of the deal details and drill content you put into the app. You grant us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of running drills, generating debriefs, and improving the product in aggregate. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and how it's handled.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, H.L. Delaney is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, transactions, commissions, clients, or data, arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to outcomes of any real-world transaction informed by app output. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your subscription lapses, or if we discontinue the product. On termination, your license ends; your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in the app and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
